  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours for more flavor).
  4. Prepare a baking dish by lining it with foil or parchment paper and greasing lightly with olive oil.
  5. Remove marinated chicken from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before placing it in the prepared baking dish. Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
