  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¾ cup low sodium chicken broth
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 package cream cheese (8oz or 250 grams)
  • 2 cups cooked chopped chicken breast

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and whisk in flour until smooth. Cook for about a minute.
  2. Stir in garlic, salt, parsley, oregano, and pepper. Then add chicken broth and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.
  3. Continue cooking over medium heat until thickened. Stir in Parmesan and half of the mozzarella until melted.
  4. Beat cream cheese until smooth in a separate bowl; mix in the Alfredo sauce and fold in chopped chicken.
  5. Spread the mixture into a baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan, then bake at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
