  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl; set aside.
  3. Place one package of crescent roll dough at the bottom of the baking dish, sealing seams.
  4. In a bowl, blend softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth; mix in egg and vanilla.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the dough layer.
  6. Top with the second package of crescent roll dough, sealing seams again.
  7. Drizzle melted butter over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
  8. Bake for about 28 minutes until golden brown; let cool before slicing.
