  • 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 10 whole cloves garlic
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 teaspoons Italian seasonings
  • Salt/Pepper
  • ⅓ cup flour
  • 1 beef bouillon cube (or 1 tsp better than bouillon)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon EACH: dried thyme, mustard powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings; coat lightly with flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; sear chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and add whole garlic cloves; caramelize until golden brown.
  4. Sprinkle in flour to form a roux; gradually whisk in chicken broth and bouillon cube until thickened.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; simmer gently for flavor melding.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
