  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese or 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (chopped, plus extra for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sauté 1 diced onion and 3 minced garlic cloves until soft (3-5 minutes).
  2. Add 1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for another minute.
  3. Pour in 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth and 1 cup heavy cream (or coconut cream). Bring to a simmer while stirring.
