  • 1 lb whole mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each mushroom into the flour mixture, then beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry mushrooms in batches for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. For the dip, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch seasoning in a bowl.
  6. Serve warm with the Cool Ranch dip.
