- 1 lb whole mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each mushroom into the flour mixture, then beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry mushrooms in batches for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- For the dip, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch seasoning in a bowl.
- Serve warm with the Cool Ranch dip.
