  • 1 lb fresh green beans
  • 1 lb baby potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • smoked paprika (optional)
  • salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the smoked sausage into bite-sized pieces. Trim green beans and halve baby potatoes.
  2. In the crockpot, layer the sausage, green beans, potatoes, and chopped onion.
  3. Sprinkle minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper on top.
  4. Pour chicken broth over everything and dot with butter.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Stir halfway through cooking for even results. Serve warm.
