  • 2 & 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 5 tbsp butter (for filling)
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 & 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, oil, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually incorporate flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to portion out cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
