  • 1½ tbsp oil (vegetable, canola, or peanut)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 4 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • Rice or noodles for serving
  • Fresh veggies (cucumber, carrot, radish) for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine all ingredients for the Firecracker sauce; set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan over high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned (about 2½ minutes). Stir in garlic and chili flakes.
  3. Pour in the Firecracker sauce; cook for 5-7 minutes while stirring occasionally to caramelize.
  4. Add a splash of water and cook for another minute to create a saucy texture.
  5. Serve over rice or noodles and top with green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh veggies.
