  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sugar (white, brown, or sugar-free)
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice (unsweetened almond milk recommended)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and line an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chopped chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, then let sit for 1-2 minutes before mixing in yogurt and sugar until smooth.
  3. Combine the melted mixture with flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda in a large bowl. Mix gently until just combined.
  4. Stir in your preferred milk until fully incorporated.
  5. If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out with moist crumbs. Cool before serving.
