- 8 skinless boneless chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 110 g honey
- 80 ml chicken stock
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes

- Coat the chicken thighs with cornflour, salt, and pepper until fully covered.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over high heat, sear the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Add butter and minced garlic to the pan, reducing heat to medium to avoid burning the garlic.
- In a separate bowl, mix honey, chicken stock, rice vinegar, and soy sauce; pour into the pan with chicken and bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken well.
- Garnish with parsley and chili flakes before serving over boiled rice.
