  • 7 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons maple extract
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together sweetened condensed milk, softened butter, vanilla extract, maple extract, maple syrup, and salt until smooth.
  2. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until the mixture reaches a doughy consistency. Stir in half of the chopped walnuts.
  3. Roll into small balls (about one inch in diameter) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill if sticky.
  4. Melt chocolate chips using a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  5. Coat each ball in melted chocolate and sprinkle with remaining walnuts before they set.
  6. Allow to harden completely before serving.
