  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 11×7 inch baking pan with foil or spray it lightly with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter, sugar, and dark brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in chopped apples.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
