  • 500 g ground beef
  • 250 g egg noodles or your choice of noodles
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water or beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles as per package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and water (or broth) in a bowl; pour into the skillet and simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Toss cooked noodles with the beef mixture until evenly coated.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
