- 1 package (17.3 oz) frozen puff pastry (2 sheets), thawed
- 4–6 tablespoons Nutella Hazelnut Spread
- 1 egg, beaten
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sprinkle flour on parchment paper and roll out one sheet of puff pastry into an 11 x 13 inch rectangle.
- Spread Nutella evenly on the pastry, leaving edges clear.
- Roll out the second sheet of pastry and place it over the Nutella layer; press gently to seal.
- Cut out a Christmas tree shape from the layered pastry.
- Make horizontal cuts along both sides of the tree without cutting all the way through.
- Twist each branch away from you carefully.
- Using leftover pastry, cut out shapes for decorations as desired.
- Brush exposed surfaces with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown; dust with powdered sugar before serving.
