  • 2 sheets puff pastry (thawed and cut into 9-inch rounds)
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • Zest of a large orange
  • 1 egg (lightly beaten)
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place one puff pastry round on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread Nutella over it, leaving a 1/4-inch rim.
  3. Sprinkle orange zest on top, then layer with the second pastry round and seal edges.
  4. Cut the pastry into sixteen sections without cutting through the center.
  5. Twist each pair of sections outward to form snowflake arms.
  6. Brush with egg wash and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
