  • 1 bag frozen chopped spinach (10 oz) – thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 block cream cheese (8 oz) – softened for easy mixing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • pinch red pepper flakes – optional for some heat
  • 1 sheet puff pastry – thawed but still cold
  • 1 egg – for brushing on top

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by mixing cream cheese, grated Parmesan, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and drained spinach in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and spread the filling evenly while leaving one edge clear. Roll tightly into a log.
  3. Chill the rolled log for 30 minutes in the refrigerator before slicing into rounds.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place sliced pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with an egg wash.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
