Method
Marinate Chicken
- In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with buttermilk. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Coat Chicken
- Remove chicken from the refrigerator and let excess buttermilk drip off.
- Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, shaking off excess flour.
- Dip the coated chicken back into the buttermilk, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
Air Fry
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the chicken bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, and drizzle with olive oil.
- Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken bites and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve
- Remove the chicken bites from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
