Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup apple cider preferably fresh
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Method
 

Prepare the Oven and Pan
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray or butter.
Mix Dry Ingredients
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
Mix Wet Ingredients
  1. In another bowl, combine the apple cider, vegetable oil, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Combine Mixtures
  1. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Bake the Bread
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Prepare the Topping
  1. While the bread is baking, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Finish the Bread
  1. Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Then, remove it from the pan and roll the warm bread in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Serve
  1. Slice the bread and serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
