Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup golden brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mashed bananas (about 2 bananas)
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 cups old fashioned oatmeal
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add vanilla extract, mashed bananas, and eggs; mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture; stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in oatmeal and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
