Ingredients
  

Beef and Broccoli
  • 1 pound beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch for thickening
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for cooking
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger fresh, grated
Lo Mein Noodles
  • 8 ounces lo mein noodles or egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon green onions sliced, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Noodles
  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch to create a sauce.
Cook the Beef
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
Add Broccoli
  1. Add broccoli florets to the wok and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
Combine Everything
  1. Add the cooked lo mein noodles and sauce mixture to the wok.
  2. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2 minutes until heated through.
  3. Drizzle with sesame oil and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes
