Method
Cook the Ground Turkey
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
- Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Stir to combine and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the Brussels sprouts are tender and slightly caramelized.
Serve
- Remove from heat and serve hot, topped with grated parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired.
