Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts pounded to even thickness
Breading
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for dredging
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup bread crumbs preferably Italian seasoned
  • 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese for mixing with bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream for the sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking

Method
 

Prepare Chicken
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
Breading Process
  1. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of bread crumbs, Romano cheese, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with the bread crumb mixture.
Cook Chicken
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking dish.
Make Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, garlic powder, and Romano cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  2. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
  2. Garnish with dried parsley before serving.
