Ingredients
  

Chicken Wings
  • 2 pounds chicken wings drumettes and flats
Cowboy Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken Wings
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large mixing bowl.
Make the Cowboy Butter Sauce
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Coat the Wings
  1. Pour the cowboy butter sauce over the chicken wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
Bake the Wings
  1. Arrange the coated wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
Serve
  1. Remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  2. Serve hot with extra cowboy butter sauce on the side for dipping.
