Cook Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare Sauce
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Combine
- Add the cooked chicken and drained pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
Serve
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
