Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz Farfalle pasta or any pasta of choice
Chicken
  • 2 cups Cooked chicken breast shredded or diced
Sauce
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese whole milk or part-skim
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup Chicken broth low sodium
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil for cooking
Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil chopped

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the farfalle pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Stir in the ricotta cheese, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5 minutes until heated through.
  3. Add the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
