Ingredients
  

For the Tacos
  • 1 lb ground turkey lean
  • 1 tsp olive oil for cooking
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • 8 small corn tortillas for baking
For the Avocado Sauce
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp cilantro chopped
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

Prepare the Ground Turkey
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Place corn tortillas on a baking sheet. Fill each tortilla with the turkey mixture and top with shredded cheese.
  2. Fold the tortillas in half and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
Make the Avocado Sauce
  1. In a food processor, combine avocados, garlic, lime juice, cilantro, and salt. Blend until smooth.
Serve
  1. Remove the tacos from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve with avocado sauce on the side.
