  • 0.75 cup all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1.5 teaspoons instant coffee granules
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter for frosting
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt for frosting
  • 1.75 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream for chocolate drizzle

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, instant espresso powder, eggs, vanilla extract, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Fold in flour until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Cool brownies completely.
  7. For frosting, whip heavy whipping cream, coffee granules, butter, and salt; gradually add powdered sugar.
  8. Spread frosting over cooled brownies.
  9. Melt chocolate chips with cream, then drizzle over frosting.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.
