Ingredients
  

Chicken Coating
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
Honey BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the coated chicken pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Make the Honey BBQ Sauce
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
Bake the Chicken
  1. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. In the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the honey BBQ sauce over the chicken pieces.
Serve
  1. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  2. Serve with extra honey BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
