Prepare the Oven and Pan
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined.
Mix the Batter
- Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
Bake the Brownies
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment paper.
Serve
- Dust the cooled brownies with powdered sugar before cutting them into squares.
- Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
