Ingredients
  

Hot Chocolate Base
  • 4 cups milk whole or any preferred milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream for creaminess
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for flavor
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt to enhance sweetness
Toppings
  • 1 cup whipped cream for topping
  • 1/4 cup Halloween-themed sprinkles for decoration
  • 4 pieces chocolate eyeballs optional, for spooky effect

Method
 

Prepare the Hot Chocolate
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream. Heat over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  2. Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk continuously until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
Serve and Garnish
  1. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs.
  2. Top each mug with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
  3. Sprinkle with Halloween-themed sprinkles and place a chocolate eyeball on top if using.
