Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 4 cups carrots, sliced peeled and cut into thin rounds
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed fresh or frozen
Glaze
  • 3 tablespoons honey preferably raw honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

Prepare the Vegetables
  1. Wash and peel the carrots, then slice them into thin rounds.
  2. Trim the ends of the green beans and set aside.
Cook the Carrots
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced carrots and sauté for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.
Add Green Beans and Honey
  1. Add the green beans to the skillet with the carrots.
  2. Pour in the honey, salt, and pepper, stirring well to coat the vegetables.
Finish Cooking
  1. Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
  2. Remove from heat and serve warm.
