Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup green onions sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger minced
Protein
  • 1 pound ground pork or ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Toppings
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro for garnish
  • 1 cup sliced almonds optional

Method
 

Cook the Protein
  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add ground pork and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add Vegetables
  1. Stir in shredded cabbage, carrots, green onions, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until vegetables are tender.
Serve
  1. Divide the mixture into bowls and top with chopped cilantro and sliced almonds if desired.
