Method
Prepare the Noodles
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Make the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Assemble the Roll Ups
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Take a lasagna noodle and spread about 2 tablespoons of the cheese filling along the length of the noodle.
- Roll the noodle up tightly and place it seam-side down in the baking dish. Repeat with remaining noodles.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the rolled noodles and sprinkle with extra mozzarella cheese.
Bake
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve
- Let the lasagna roll ups cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
