Ingredients
  

Chicken and Sauce
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or diced
  • 1 cup marinara sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
Grilled Cheese
  • 8 slices bread your choice of bread
  • 4 tablespoons butter softened

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken Mixture
  1. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken and marinara sauce. Mix well.
  2. Stir in the mozzarella and parmesan cheese until evenly distributed.
Assemble the Sandwiches
  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. On the unbuttered side of four slices, spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture.
  3. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
Cook the Sandwiches
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet, cooking until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  2. Once both sides are golden and the cheese is melted, remove from the skillet and let cool slightly.
Serve
  1. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
