Marinate Chicken
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken pieces, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
Prepare Orange Sauce
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the orange juice, sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, orange zest, and cornstarch mixture until smooth.
Fry Chicken
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken pieces in batches and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Combine Chicken and Sauce
- In the same wok, drain excess oil and add the prepared orange sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the fried chicken to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
Serve
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve hot with steamed rice.
