Method
Prepare the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, beaten egg, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Set the filling aside to let it thicken slightly while you prepare the crescent rolls.
Assemble the Crescent Rolls
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place about a tablespoon of the pecan filling at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, sealing the filling inside.
- Place the rolled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Serve
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
- Enjoy your pecan pie crescent rolls warm or at room temperature.
