Ingredients
  

Crescent Roll Dough
  • 1 package crescent roll dough refrigerated
Pecan Filling
  • 1 cup chopped pecans lightly toasted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup light or dark
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Topping
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, beaten egg, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  2. Set the filling aside to let it thicken slightly while you prepare the crescent rolls.
Assemble the Crescent Rolls
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Place about a tablespoon of the pecan filling at the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, sealing the filling inside.
  5. Place the rolled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Serve
  1. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
  2. Enjoy your pecan pie crescent rolls warm or at room temperature.
