  • 1 cup diced pineapple fresh or canned, drained
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 1/2 medium red onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium jalapeño seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1 medium lime juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Dice the pineapple, tomato, and jalapeño. Finely chop the red onion and cilantro.
  2. Juice the lime and set aside.
Mix the Pico de Gallo
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced pineapple, tomato, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
  2. Add the lime juice and salt, then mix well to combine all ingredients.
Serve
  1. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos.
