Ingredients
  

Sorbet Base
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice about 4-6 lemons
  • 1 cup water for mixing
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries for color and flavor
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest for extra flavor

Method
 

Prepare the Sorbet Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the fresh lemon juice, water, and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Add the fresh raspberries and lemon zest to the mixture. Blend until smooth.
Chill the Mixture
  1. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until well chilled.
Churn the Sorbet
  1. Pour the chilled mixture into a sorbet maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes.
Freeze the Sorbet
  1. Transfer the churned sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
Serve
