Ingredients
  

Pork Tenderloin
  • 1 lb pork tenderloin trimmed of excess fat
Apple Butter Glaze
  • 1 cup apple butter preferably homemade or high-quality store-bought
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar packed
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Optional Garnish
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Pork
  1. Trim any excess fat from the pork tenderloin and season it with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the apple butter, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ground cinnamon, and ground ginger.
Slow Cook the Pork
  1. Place the seasoned pork tenderloin in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the apple butter mixture over the pork, ensuring it is well coated.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart.
Serve
  1. Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  2. Serve the sliced pork with the apple butter glaze drizzled on top and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
