Prepare the Chicken
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian herbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Cook the Chicken
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Add Orzo and Vegetables
- After 4 hours, add the orzo, peas, spinach, and carrots to the slow cooker.
- Stir well to combine, cover, and cook for an additional 30 minutes on low, or until the orzo is tender.
Serve
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the slow cooker and mix it with the orzo and sauce.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
