Dip Base
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese whole milk or part-skim
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Topping
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Dip
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, olive oil, red pepper flakes, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
Assemble and Serve
  1. Transfer the ricotta dip to a serving dish.
  2. Drizzle hot honey over the top and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  3. Serve with crackers, bread, or vegetable sticks.

Notes
