Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 lb chicken breast sliced into thin strips
Vegetables
  • 1 cup bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup onion sliced
  • 1 cup Thai basil leaves fresh
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp chili paste adjust to taste
Aromatics
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 pcs Thai bird chilies sliced
Oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Prepare the ingredients
  1. Slice the chicken breast, bell pepper, onion, and chilies. Mince the garlic and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and chili paste.
Cook the chicken
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced chilies, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken strips and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add vegetables and sauce
  1. Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the wok, stir-frying for another 3-4 minutes.
  2. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables, stirring well to combine.
Finish with basil
  1. Add the fresh Thai basil leaves and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until the basil is wilted.
  2. Remove from heat and serve hot over rice.

Notes
