Prepare the ingredients
- Slice the chicken breast, bell pepper, onion, and chilies. Mince the garlic and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and chili paste.
Cook the chicken
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sliced chilies, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chicken strips and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add vegetables and sauce
- Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the wok, stir-frying for another 3-4 minutes.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables, stirring well to combine.
Finish with basil
- Add the fresh Thai basil leaves and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until the basil is wilted.
- Remove from heat and serve hot over rice.
