Ingredients
  

Chicken and Noodles
  • 1 pound boneless chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 ounces egg noodles or any preferred noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for heat
Garnish
  • 2 green onions sliced for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Cook the Noodles
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Make the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
Combine Everything
  1. Once the chicken is cooked, pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet. Stir to coat and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  2. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until the noodles are well coated with the sauce.
Serve
  1. Serve the sticky garlic chicken noodles hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
