Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Strawberry Mixture
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries crushed
  • 1 cup strawberry-flavored cereal crushed

Method
 

Prepare the Oven and Baking Sheet
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Mix Wet Ingredients
  1. In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Mixtures
  1. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  2. Fold in the crushed freeze-dried strawberries and crushed cereal until evenly distributed.
Bake the Cookies
  1. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
