Prepare the Oven and Baking Sheet
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Mix Wet Ingredients
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Mixtures
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the crushed freeze-dried strawberries and crushed cereal until evenly distributed.
Bake the Cookies
- Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
