Ingredients
  

Beef Fillet
  • 4 pieces beef fillet about 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for searing
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Creamy Pepper Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream for sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter for sautéing
  • 2 tablespoons black peppercorns crushed
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Beef Fillet
  1. Season the beef fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the fillets for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  4. Remove the fillets from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
Make the Creamy Pepper Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add crushed black peppercorns and Worcestershire sauce, stir for 1 minute.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring frequently until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Season with salt to taste and remove from heat.
Serve
  1. Plate the beef fillets and drizzle the creamy pepper sauce over the top.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
