Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 1 cup diced apples preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
  • 1 cup diced pears ripe but firm
  • 1 cup red grapes halved
  • 1 cup mandarin oranges canned or fresh
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds fresh or frozen
  • 1 banana sliced added just before serving to prevent browning
Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup for a vegan option
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional for extra flavor

Method
 

Prepare the Fruits
  1. Wash and prepare all the fruits. Dice the apples and pears, halve the grapes, and slice the banana just before serving.
  2. If using fresh pomegranate, remove the seeds from the fruit.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine and Serve
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the prepared fruits.
  2. Drizzle the dressing over the fruit and gently toss to combine.
  3. Serve immediately or chill for up to 30 minutes before serving.
